Writing Outside the Lines – Prompt 2.2

Joe Hesch has been a long time writing friend and a pretty amazing photographer as well … he has a few historic sports shots in his vast collection. He posted the picture for the prompt this week and I fell in love with it … so … Thank You Joe for allowing me to use this stunning picture for Prompt 2.2

Where Angel Tread

It took my breath away …

A single white feather

resting on a rough

black top background

Something that might go

unnoticed but a dramatic

picture saved the moment

for many

to see …

to experience …

to enjoy …

Some once said …

“Where white feathers

appear, Angels are present

Perhaps this is true …

If you believe

Perhaps this picture was

meant to share joy and

beauty with those of us

who needed to be reminded

of all the simple beauty

around us should we slow

down and look around us

to open our eyes to Nature …

  1. Yes…angels watching, a sign of protection and peace … very magickal to find a white feather…when you find one, pick it up & keep it … your ancestors sent it to you….XXXOOO

    Can’t say I believe in angels other things supernatural, but an interesting story. Have never heard that a white feather could indicate an angel. Learn something new every day. :-}
