Sands of Time

“Time, which is your enemy is almost everything in this life, is your friend in writing.”

~ Tobias Wolff

Growing up I watched soaps every day. One of my favorites was Days of Our Lives and it was introduced daily showing an hourglass on the screen with the following quote: “Like sands through an hourglass, so are the days of our lives”.

Life is filled with ever-changing grains of sand moving from one second to another. Each of us are like those sands of time … ever-changing, always moving, sometimes fast other times slow. What and who we encounter … interact with as our personal sands shift and move make us who we are … good, bad, or indifferent.

Protect your time because it is your life. Use it wisely and share it with caution.
