Writing Outside the Lines Prompt 3 — Week of August 23, 2015

One of my favorite things to write with for a prompt is a word list. Using the above quote and the following words … you may use one or all of them … write about a time, a thing, an idea, etc that you were allowed to “Make It So”!

grovel submerge radiance lower jaded

In my past, I have had to lower myself

grovel and beg to get things accomplished

Not because I am a week individual

But…

Because I have worked for/with some of

extremely controlling individuals

during my career who never allowed me

to spread my wings…

to let my radiance shine…

to let me be the person I have always been

In my advanced years…

Jaded by many

I no longer care what they think of me…

my ideas…

my wants, needs and desires …

I will no longer hide…

Submerge myself and what I want

to do…

to be…

and will each and every day be

true to me and only me

for the first time in my life

I will …

MAKE IT SO…
