Meaning

You use sweet words of love and affection

to flatter me …

to attempt to win me over …

to make me believe something you

want me to believe …

Yet …

Your behavior …

The things you actually do to me…

With me…

Are so different from the words you use

Mama always said actions speak louder than words

And…

If the words seem to be screaming one thing

ignore them and look for truth in actions

Words of love used casually with no

meaning or actions to back them up

are worthless … meaningless

Untrue …

A single flower …

A forehead kiss …

Holding hands during a slow

late afternoon walk …

All mean more and tell me more

than all the words in the world …
